Despite his hectic schedule, which required him to spend most of his time attending to the crowded dockets in Loudoun and Fauquier counties, Judge Snead always found time for Rappahannock citizens who needed to speak with him. Numerous people speak of appointments made early in the morning, in the evening when he arrived back home, or on the weekends and holidays. He was always available, and continues to make time to help others.
The Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club uses the bams on his farm in Washington for the youngsters’ animal projects. Randall Updike, who advises the 4-H club, said “Judge Snead is just a super guy. He has always worked with youth. He bends over backwards to help children — and people in general. He is concerned about individuals.”
