How, in good conscience, then, can these supervisors have a negative vote? Where are the negative letters to the editor? Where are the negative petitions? Where is the negative testimony from the public hearing? We certainly hope that on Jan. 5 we will see the democratic process work1 as it was designed to work and that each supervisor will be man enough to vote as his own constituents and his own conscience direct. I, for one, will be there on Jan. 5 to see if democracy is alive and well in Rappahannock County.
