file at the Rappahannock County Courthouse, Ronald Lee Nicholson, 28, Rt. 1, Box 65, Washington, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.
State Police Sgt. M. D. Dowdy said that the arrest resulted from information supplied to State Police special agents in Culpeper by narcotics agents from the Richmond Police Department. Based on that information, a warrant was obtained for a search of Nicholson’s residence, and the discovery of the suspected controlled substances resulted.
Nicholson was released on $85,000 bond, pending a preliminary hearing Feb. 17.
