heartache, Shirley did not ask her friends for donations following the fire. She simply and humbly asked that we purchase her handmade items so she could buy cat food.
Several weeks ago, Mrs. Minton became very seriously ill, and Dan was forced to stay home from work to care for her, leaving them with no income. Mrs. Minton later underwent heart surgery for valve replacement, and still faces a lengthy recuperation period.
We are hereby making a plea to all animal lovers in your area to join in helping during this critical time. At this writing, there is an 8-day supply of dry cat food on hand, an 11- day supply of canned food and a 12- day supply of cat litter. Medical bills relating to Shirley’s open heart surgery continue to mount. The need for financial assistance is immediate and urgent.
