Mrs. L. J. Turner was an Easter Sunday dinner guest of her son and family Dr. and Mrs. John Turner at Waterloo Farm, Warrenton. Other guests were Mary Turner and John Turner of University of North Carolina and Will Hazel of the University of Virginia.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell were among the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fitzgerald at their annual Easter dinner, attended by approximately 35 relatives. They enjoyed a delicious dinner and an Easter egg hunt.
Miss Alice Walker, daughter of Professor D. E. Walker of Boulder, Colo., visited our town last week. Miss Walker, who attends college in Indiana, is the granddaughter of Matilda Walker.
Mr. and Mrs. Ricky L. Pullen were Easter Sunday luncheon guests of his mother Mrs. Eva J. Sample in Culpeper. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Branson Jenkins, Allen and Wendy of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Payne, Sharon, Melissa, Wanda and Al, and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Jenkins Jr., Frankie, Adam and Julie.
The Rappahannock Lions Club are having their annual auction on Saturday night at the Washington fire hall. Plan to attend and get a bargain.
