The 1987 Virginia Dairy Recipe Contest is now open for entries. Soups are the theme for this year’s competition, sponsored by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the American Dairy Association and Piedmont Airlines/Piedmont Vacations. The winter season was a great time to experiment with hearty soup recipes and spring brings to mind cold soups that will be a great addition to warm weather meals. So pull out your favorite soup recipes using real dairy products and submit them now for the 1987 contest to be held in June.
The grand prize winner will receive round-trip tickets for two to Orlando, Fla., and hotel accommodations for four days and three nights, all compliments of Piedmont Airlines/Vacations. Cash awards will be presented to first, second and third
