Turkey. § 1 Open season-Generally.
Amend to change the opening and closing dates of the turkey hunting season from the first Monday in November through December 31, to the last Saturday in October through the first Saturday in January, both dates inclusive.
§ 3. Open season-Spring season for bearded turkeys.
Amend by deleting the reference to calendar years, but retaining the current season dates: from the second Saturday in April through the second Saturday in May.
§ 5. Bow and arrow hunting.
Amend subsection A to change the season dates for hunting turkey with bow and arrow from the second Saturday in October through the Saturday prior to the second Monday in November, to the third Saturday in October through the Saturday prior to the third Monday in November, both dates inclusive.
Subsections B through E are not affected by the amendment.
§ 6. Bag limit.
Amend to change the bag limits of one a day, two a license year, either sex during the fall season, to one a day, three a license year, no more than two of which may be taken in the fall and no more than two of which may be taken in the spring.

The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries has ordered to be published, pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, the following proposed new and amended Commission regulations, applicable East of the Blue Ridge Mts. A public hearing on the advisability of adopting or amending and adopting, the proposed regulations, or any part thereof, will be held at the Hyatt Richmond, 6624 West Broad Street and 1-64, Richmond, Virginia, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8,1987, at whfcfWrrie any interested citizen present shall be heard. If the Commission is satisfied that the proposed regulations, or any part thereof, are advisable, in the form in which published or as amended as a result of the public hearing, the Commission may adopt such proposals at that time, acting upon the proposals separately or in block.
