session will have discussions on government, justice, environment, and' transportation.
All of the meetings will have the same format. There will be a final registration period between 9:15 and 9:50 a.m., a welcome and 45-minute look at the future as it applies to the topics to be examined, small group discussions, a summary, and a peek at what the future might hold. Each meeting is scheduled to end at 3:45 p.m.
Each meeting will have a message from Gov. Baliles as well as involving representatives from the League, Extension, Virginia Tech, the Institute of Alternative Futures, and the Center for Innovative Technology.
The $15 ($30 for both) registration fee includes briefing materials, coffee breaks, and lunch. Those who register prior to April 20 will receive advance materials to study before the meeting. It will be possible to register on the day of each session.
Persons registering by mail are asked to indicate which of the six locations they will attend and list the four subjects in the order of their interest.
