Mr. and Mrs. David Bates of Arlington were at their country home Range View during the long Easter holiday.

Luncheon guests Saturday of Mrs. Cary Thornhill were Mrs. Robert Thornhill of Vienna, Mrs. Roberta Gross of Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Dell Cushman of Gibsonia, Pa., and Miss Mary Millian of Seminole, Fla.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family were dinner guests Easter Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meade in Culpeper. Mrs. Linda Weakley of Criglersville visited the Meades Tuesday.

Airman 1st Class Ray W. Goodall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray W. Goodall Jr. of the Reva-Boston route, has graduated from the U.S. Air Force airframe repair course at Chanute Air Force Base, 111. During the course students were taught to work with different metals and also earned credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Mrs. Phillip Hawkins has returned home after a week’s visit with her mother Mrs. Virginia Hodgson and family in Statesville, N.C.

Mrs. George Butler Sr., Mrs. Cary Thornhill, Mr. and Mrs. William Gibbs, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Thornhill and Mr. and Mrs. George Butler Jr. were luncheon guests Easter Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clore at White Shop.

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Marshall, Matthew and Ashleigh of Culpeper were Easter Day guests of Terry’s grandmother Mrs. Ruth Lillard.

Oliver Durant returned to his home The Hill on Monday following surgery at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. Mrs. Durant reports that when the Northern Virginia Junior Foxhunters Field Trial was held on their farm the weekend of April 10, Mr. Durant rose at 5 a.m. in order to see the field of 80 hounds cast at daybreak Saturday.

Folks in our area are reminded revival services are being held all this week at Hope Hill Baptist Church at 7 p.m. with Evangelist Waldo Grandstaff of Virginia Beach as speaker. A warm welcome is extended to all.
