In a short and routine session Tuesday morning, Rappahannock’s Board of Zoning Appeals held the fence, denying a request to drop a previously imposed requirement that a swimming pool at a bed-and-breakfast inn be enclosed.
Barbara and Paul Mayville maintained that the pool fence, a condition of their special use permit for the bed-and-breakfast operation at Castleton Manor, was unnecessary since their clientele does not include children.
