Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer spent Easter Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Fendley at Middletown.
Mrs. Gladys Schlosser is improving at her home Fox Hill after suffering a broken rib.
Easter sunrise services were observed by the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Sunday with about 75 in attendance, of whom about 55 remained for breakfast at the church. Sunday evening their pastor Rev. John Warren was guest speaker for opening revival at Brandy Baptist Church. He was accompanied by his choir who rendered several selections.
Mr. and Mrs. John Lee Durant have returned to their home here after spending the winter at the Keys in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard White and their baby daughter Louisa of Virginia Beach spent the Easter weekend here with Mrs. Richard White Sr. at Ri-Dan Farm.
Mr. and Mrs. Danny Sims and children Erin and Patrick of Statesville, Pa., spent the long Easter holiday here with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sims and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Butler and family. Miss Natalie Butler of University of Virginia was also at home for the holiday with her family.
The community offers our deepest sympathy to Gregory Kent Pullen and family at the tragic death of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Elwood F. Pullen, who were killed in an automobile accident near Culpeper on Sunday, April 12. y
