in pageant
Joy Maya Best, five-year-old daughter of Margaret and Troy Best of Boston, has entered the Miss Junior America Pageant, to be held on Sunday, May 31, in Virginia Beach.
Joy attends kindergarten at Rappahannock County Elementary School. She epjoys riding her bike, playing with her “Barbie” collection, dancing, art, nature walks and helping her mother in the kitchen.
Her entry in the pageant is being sponsored by Dianne Agramonte, Mr. and Mrs. Harry George Lee Best, and Buck Boswell.
The winner of the Miss Junior America competition in Virginia Beach will represent Virginia in the televised national finals competition.
