Track & Field
meet at FHS
Registration forms for the local Hershey Track and Field meet are available at all elementary and junior high schools as well as the office of the Fauquier Parks and Recreation Department. The meet is scheduled for May 14 at 5:30 p.m. at Fauquier High School and is open to youth 9-14 as of Dec. 31,1987.
Events include 50, 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes, 4X100 relay, 800 run, long jump, softball throw and 1600 run. Ribbons will be given to the winners in each age group, sex, and event, who will then be eligible to compete at the regional level. Preregistration is not necessary, but suggested.

volleyball
Every Monday night is womenonly time at the Warrenton Armory from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Pick-up volleyball and basketball is the order of the night and no prior signup is needed. Cost is $1 at the door and open to all (women, that is).
