RanMhmuock Newt photo/Lou Hatter NO ONE WAS INJURED in this one-car accident, which occurred on Rt. 211 at the Rediviva Bridge on April 16. According to Trooper C. A. Moore, this 1986 Mazda pick-up, owned by Sharon Valerio, of Stephenson, Va., and driven by George Douglas Whirley, also of Stephenson, was westbound on Rt. 211. Whirley lost control of the truck and it ran off the right shoulder of the road, then back across the highway and struck a guardrail on the left shoulder, flipping over. Whirley, who was alone in the truck, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Trooper Moore estimated damage to the truck at $6,000.
