Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins visited Mrs. Frank Edmonds and Mrs. C. E. Burke in Front Royal Saturday.

Mrs. Lee Thornton III and children Philip and Felicia arrived from Seoul, Korea, Sunday night at Dulles Airport, where they were met by Mrs. Frances Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown. Mr. Thornton will arrive at a later date.

The Sperryvrlle Bridge Club met on Friday night with Mrs. I. R. Kilby as hostess. Guests were Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. C. E. Johnson Jr., Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. Jack Brown, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. E. A. McNear and Mrs. Brown Miller. Prize winners were Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Tabler, Mrs. Reeve and Mrs. Maeyer.

Mrs. C. R. Powell of Kilmarnock and Mrs. Teresa Clawson of Wicomico Church were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne at Intervale.

Mrs. Ruby Dwyer and David Marshall Dwyer were dinner guests Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade in Culpeper. They were joined by their sister Annie Dwyer, also of Culpeper. Mrs. Dwyer was an overnight guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Maywood Cornwell in Luray.

Mrs. Catherine Brown and Julian Brown were joined by other members of the family for the weekend in Wheeling, W.Va., where they enjoyed the dog races.
