Marine Lance Cpl. Michael DelGrosso, son of Anthony DelGrosso of Flint Hill, has been awarded a Meritorious Mast while serving with 1st Marine Amphibious Brigade, Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
A Meritorious Mast is an official recognition from a Marine’s commanding officer for superior individual performance. It is issued in the form of a bulletin published throughout the command, and a copy is entered in the Marine’s permanent service records.
A 1984 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, Cpl. DelGrosso joined the Marine Corps in August 1984.

There will be a wine tasting fron^ three Virginia wineries on Friday June 27 at the Middle St. Gallery inj Washington from 7 to 10 p.m. Representatives of the three wineries: Naked Mountain in Markham, Oasis in Hume and Locust Hill in Rectortown will be present to discuss their wines and the winemaking process. ;
