Arts on the Bluff, an art show featuring nearly 50 artists will be held Saturday, June 13, at Westmoreland State Park. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A $2 festival parking fee will be charged.
Sponsored by the Westmoreland County Recreation Department, the event has drawn artists from around the Northern Neck, Central and Northern Virginia areas. “We are very pleased with the calibre of artists the show is attracting,” said Alice Hutnyan, director of the Westmoreland Recreation Department. “Spectators will have a wide variety of works to admire and perhaps purchase.”
Cash awards will be given in three categories: works on canvas, works on paper and three-dimensional art. In addition, a $400 Best in Show Award will be presented. Joseph C. DiBella, a Mary Washington College art professor and wellknown local artist, will serve as
