Technicon Instruments Corporation, an innovative leader in the medical diagnostics industry, seeks an individual to support the Quality Control function at its expanding Chemical and Biological Manufacturing facility in Middletown, VA. Responsibilities encompass the routine operation, calibration, trouble-shooting and maintenance of manual and automated analyzers during the testing and evaluation of raw materials, in-process, and final products as prescribed by SOP’s. You will insure the accurate preparation of standard reagents, maintain the integrity of all samples, and keep accurate records of testing results and equipment maintenance.
Candidates should possess either an applicable degree or certification (AAS, MLT, CCA) and 2 years laboratory testing experience in a hospital, biological or chemical environment; or 3 years experience with specific instrumentation (AAII, SMA, SMAC). A basic knowledge of RA1000 operation is desirable.
