Deer. § 1. Open season-Generalty.
Amended to change the existing January 5 closing date of the deer season to the first Saturday in January.
§ 4. Bow aid arrow hunting.
Amended Subsection B to change the closing date for the additional archery season west of the Blue Ridge Mountains and in certain counties and portions of counties east of the Blue Ridge Mountains from January 5 to the first Saturday in January. Subsections A and C through F are not affected by the amendment.
§ 6. Bag limit-Generally.
Amended to change reference to "one buck" to “one antlered deer,” and to add the provision that “anterless deer may be taken only during designated either-sex deer hunting days."

Amended to provide a quail hunting season statewide from the third Monday in November through January 31, both dates inclusive.
