lecture Sunday
providing the public an opportunity to learn something about a church with a long history on the local religious
scene. This year, the lecturers are focusing on three growing areas of concern: violence, the breakdown of the family and health.
The local congregation has scheduled Mrs. Olson’s lecture to begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 at Warrenton Presbyterian Church. It will last an hour.
Kay Olson is aqtive in the denomination’s ministry of Christian healing as a Christian Science practitioner. (A Christian Science practitioner gives his or her full time to the public practice of Christian Science healing through prayer). Her lecture on an answer to crime will include accounts of physical healing that have come about as the result of prayer and a spiritual understanding of God.
The public is invited to attend the lecture on Sunday. There is no charge and child care will be available.
