Kimberly jane Burke, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Burke of Chester Gap was married to Ronald Lee Nicholson, son of Mrs. James 0. Nicholson and the late Mr. Nicholson on Saturday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Steve Scoggin and Rev. James Burke.
The wedding music was provided by Mrs. Rae Rector.
The church was decorated with flowers from Camille’s.
The bride given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father wore a satin gown with Chantilly and sheer lace. She carried a bouquet of daisies, carnations, miniature roses, lilies and baby’s breath.
Miss Beverly Atkins of Flint Hill was maid of honor. She wore a wine satin tea length dress and carried a mixed bouquet of daisies, carnations, lilies and baby’s breath.
Bridesmaids were Sharon Dodson of Flint Hill, Missie Bradley of Berryvillq, Judith Burke of Front Royal and Melanie Turpin of Lynchburg. They wore rose tea length dresses and carried bouquets similar to that of the maid of honor.
