The bounty of the growing season was displayed in abundance at the home of Caroline Doub last week when the ladies of the Rappahannock Garden Club vied for blue ribbons with 40 entries in this annual horticultural event. Harriet Stokes managed to add four blue ribbons to her collection with Florence Nordone following with three blues and Vivi Liverman with two blues.
Individual blue ribbons were awarded to Mary Stuart Bain, Helen Brown, Caroline Doub, Mary Frances Fannon, Breezy Gannon, Jane Herndon, Jewelle Jewell, Sally Sharp, Helen Smith and Marian White. Dottie Hooff walked off as the top winner in the Design Divi
