eight categories. To earn the stamps, each child had to read three picture books or one juvenile book. Among the children with the most stamps were Sara Klatko (28) and Nathan Flinchum (27). Others were Stephanie Tholand (19) and Naomi Smoot (18).
"This has been a highly successfill program,” one of the volunteers said. “More than half the children earned stamps in all eight of the categories. The participation of all who helped in this venture is deeply appreciated - we are especially grateful to the Rappahannock News for the fine publicity it has given at all stages of this program.”
