Club is planning an auction next month for the benefit of the Panther Athletic League’s fiind raising drive to build a track at Rappahannock County High School. Auctioneer John Walker Jenkins has volunteered the use of the Jenkins Auction House in Washington as Well as services for the sale Oct. 6.
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor First Aid classes beginning Monday, Sept. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the fire hall. Richard Farrell and Ben Hoover will be the instructors. Anyone interested in taking this course should contact Bruce Williams, 635-7511.

School Booster Club will hold its first meeting of the school year Sept. 20 in the high school cafeteria. At this meeting, the principal will be introduced to parents, there will be a question and answer session and plans will be made for the “Friendship Follies” to be presented Oct. 16.
