the potato fields of Idaho are only a handful of the breathtaking sites along our drive.

Our first stop in Montana was Wolf Creek, where Tami’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Murr, met us at their vacation trailer. Once again, I felt I was at home with another family.

Sunday and Monday of the following week we spent in Glacier National Park. Although the trails we walked were filled with warning signs about grizzly bears, the beauty of God’s country was my only thought. Starting at Lake McDonald and Trick Falls, we traveled the “Going to the Sun Road” to Heaven’s Peak. Going through Logan’s Pass we went to Sunrise Gorge and Jackson Glacier. Waterfalls of melting snow trickling down mountainsides freed our minds and souls. The best part of my dream vacation was sharing it with true friends and their families who had become part of my family.

On our return to California we spent a night in Las Vegas. We walked Las Vegas Boulevard at 2 a.m. to see the beautiful lights. And, yes, by 4 a.m. we had to hit the slot machines which surely was amusing for others to watch.
