one. He was the parish priest for Precious Blood until 1979, when the Archdiocese of Arlington appointed him as Chaplain to Bethany House, the diocesean retreat in Huntly. He served there for two years, and was appointed to administer the St. Peter's Catholic Mission in Washington in 1981.
ABC profits
distributed
Rappahannock County received $11,213 as its share in the distribution of Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control profits for the second and third quarters of the 1986-87 fiscal year. The Town of Washington received an additional $474. A per-liter wine tax netted the county another $4,011, while Washington received $169 from that tax for the period.
A total of $20 million in profits was generated by the ABC during the two quarters, which resulted in more than $10.25 million passing to the Commonwealth’s counties, cities and towns for services to local residents.
