INVITATION FOR BIDS EMMANUEL EPISCOPAL CHURCH PROPERTY The Vestry of the Episcopal Church of Bromfield Parish hereby invites you to submit a bid for the following real property, to-wit: That certain tract or parcel of land, together with buildings and improvements theron and privileges and appurtenances therewith connected, situate, lying and being in the Town of Sperryville, Piedmont Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, on State Route 1001 and being formerly described as follows: "Fronting 42 feet on the Sperryville and Warrenton Turnpike. which also bounds it to the north, and running back from said Turnpike 84 feet, it is adjoined and bonded on the east by the lot of H. L Menefee and on the south and west by the lot of W. H. Amos, it being the northeast comer of the lot now occupied by the said H. W. Amos.” AND BEING the same and identical tract or parcel of land acquired by the Trustees of the Episcopal Church, from Douglas K. Baumgardner/ Special Commissioner, by deed dated September 23, 1982, and recorded September 24,1982 in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 142, at page 523. The terms of sale wilt be cash with 10% deposit within five days after the date of acceptance of the bid, with settlement of sale within thirty days after acceptance of bid. The sale will be subject to all valid and existing conditions, easements, rights of way, roadways, reservations, graveyards, and restrictions, if any, heretofore imposed upon said property by prescription, recorded deed or plat and which may be disclosed by an inspection of the premises or which may be binding thereon. The highest and best offer received for the property will be subject to acceptance or rejection by the Vestry and congregation of the Episcopal Church of Bromfield Parish. Bids must be submitted to the Vestry in writing on or before noon, September 8, 1987. The highest bidder will be notified of the acceptance of his offer promptly upon acceptance. All bids rfiust be in writing and should be in a sealed envelope and placed in a lager envelope addressed to the undersigned. Maurice G.
