NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING FOR ADOPTION OF COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENTS TO THE HISTORIC DISTRICT ORDINANCE AND RECODIFICATION OF THE HISTORIC DISTRICTWDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Council and the Planning Commission of Washington, Virginia will hold a joint public hearing at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9,1987, in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, to take public comment regarding the adoption of comprehensive amendments to the Historic District Ordinance and recodification of the Historic District Ordinance of the Town of Washington, Virginia. All interested persons are invited to attend and present their views. The full text of the amendments to be considered by the Town Council and the Planning Commission is available for inspection in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County during normal business hours. Following the public hearing, the Planning Commission will recommend to the Council approval or disapproval of the Ordinance, or amendments thereto, and the Town Council may approve, disapprove, or approve with amendments, this Ordinance.
