Some men must conquer mountains. Others peer into radio telescopes searching the farthest reaches of space. Still others pit their strength against social dilemmas that stifle the spirit of mankind. All of us seem to have been born with a desire to conquer. How constructively we express it depends on the influences which shape our lives—especially the spiritual influences.
Centuries ago one of the greatest Christian leaders wrote: "We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us... ”
The conquest of life’s challenges depends not simply on the dimensions of our own strength and character. It depends most of all on spiritual resources and growth—the vitality with which a Loving Lord has endowed his followers.
