To the editor:
We the members of the community called Spyder Mountain would like to offer our condolences to everyone in our area, who, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, got drawn into last weekend’s tragic situation. That this kind of thing can happen in peaceful Rappahannock County is a testament to the reality that no one is immune to the pain of the rest of the world, no matter how farm from the mainstream we get.
On Sunday night, as the rest of the community was breathing , a sigh of relief at the conclusion of this unfortunate turn of events, it became apparent to us that we could not.
