John Vann
John Vann, 78, of Edinburg, died April 8 in the Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Vann was bom July 2, 1909, in Columbia Furnace, the son of the late Oliver and Lucy Ellen Cook Vann. He was a retired truck driver for the Virginia State Highway Department.
Surviving are one daughter Tanzy Frazier of Castleton; . one brother Alfred Vann of Edinburg; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 11 at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock with the Rev. Gene Knicely officiating. Burial was in the Columbia Furnace Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodstock Rescue Squad.

Annie R. Huyett, 100. of the Knot Nursing Home in Charles Town, W.Va., formerly of Grasmere Farm in Charles Town, died April 9 in the nursing home.
