was the master of cermonies again this year and his wife Dorothy gave a program on articles found in newspapers pertaining to the Virginia Beahms.
Dennis B. Johnson, a well known young man of Page County and a descendant through G.W. Beahm’s son, Ambrose Booten Beahm, took it upon himself to be chief photographer for the Beahm reunion and has promised to bring a book with the results of his work to the 1990 gathering.
We also had a pleasant surprise when Mike Beahm of Washington, Virginia a descendant through G.W.’s son Silas Abraham, recorded the entire program on his recently acquired camcorder. We’ll be looking forward to seeing how we appear in the movies.
Everyone enjoyed the food, the chance to exchange family news and many an old memory was recollected to be retold again for the younger generations.
Make a note on your calendar to reserve Sunday, Sept. 2, 1990 so you won’t miss this fun-filled reunion next year. Every Beahm or descendant is welcome to join us.
