CHILDREN OF GOD
In our unredeemed state our bodies and their powers are tools of Satan, but when we become children of God they should be His tools by which to serve Him in service to others. What, by His grace, he has done for us we should share with others in order that our witness may lead them to be saved by His grace. A gift received should be a gift shared. As someone has said, "A candle does not diminish its light by lighting another.” The Christian life is not simply one flowery bed of ease. It involves struggle and labor in the Lord. Jesus never promised His disciples an easy time. But He did promise victory to all who trust Him as Saviour and commit themselves to Him as Lord.
