It is unfortunate to see how far from the central issue of abortion people will go to justify their position.

One must first answer the question, “When do I believe life begins?” If a person believes life begins at birth, then abortion is nothing more than the removal of “fetal tissue.” If a person believes life begins at conception, then abortion is murder. If a person believes life begins at three months (or at some other prebirth stage), then abortion before that point is the removal of fetal tissue and the taking of life after that point.

The Declaration of Independence states that God has endowed us with certain inalienable rights, the most important being life. Our Constitution provides for the forfeiture of life after due process of law' and a trial by jury. Thus, the right to life supercedes all other rights including the right to privacy, to bear arms, or to religious practice. The taking of life
