Finally, about the drug problem. I admit that wiping out the next generation in the womb will keep them from turning into druggies, but even if that were the only problem facing humanity today, and, as pressing as it is, it is far from that, abortion would still not be the best solution, let alone the only one.
But why, I wonder, should ProLifers be assumed to be incapable of dealing with more than one problem at a time? A lot of other people seem to manage it quite well, the editor of the Rappahannock News, for example.
I’ll make a deal. If, and only if, the News stops dealing with zoning problems, with tax laws, with agricultural developments, with school matters, with historical information, in short, with everything but the drug problem, and I mean EVERYTHING perhaps I’ll begin to commence to start to consider possibly that the anti-abortion fight is not worth fighting anymore. But not until then.
And even then, don’t count on it.
