'People are stories'
RAAC will sponsor a workshop on oral history, ‘Teople Are Stories,” with Cynthia Cohen at Blackwater Homestead on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This day-long workshop will introduce teachers, community workers, artists and others to the field of oral history. Participants will learn the definitions, techniques and uses of oral history through examples from the work of the Oral History Center. For information or reservations, call Sid Gottlieb (547-3934).
