Today people are being encouraged more and more to eat garlic. Research indicates that it may be beneficial to the heart.
However, the storage of garlic is causing concern to officials at the Federal Drug Administration. In April of this year, the FDA told companies to stop making any garlicin-oil mixes which require refrigeration for safety. The agency also urged consumers to discard these and similar homemade products.
