If nothing else were accomplished
at the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors meeting Friday at the courthouse, the air was cleared concerning the sewerage system for Sperryville. The board made it clear that they were not pressing a $250,000 disposal system. If the pollution problem can be remedied by other satisfactory, cheaper means, that is fine and dandy. The large number of Sperryville residents present for a hearing with the board were advised to contact the local and the state Water Authorities and let it be known they are investigating other means and ways and are endeavoring to rectify a bad situation. They were advised to act immediately so the Federal grant will not be lost.
