Lorenzo Rickard
Lorenzo “Pete” Rickard, 69, of Bentonville, died Sept. 3 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
The funeral was held at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway with the Rev. Bob Martin officating. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Mr. Rickard was bom Oct. 2, 1919, in Page County, the son of the late David and Annie Jewel Rickard. He was a retired carpenter from Richmarr Construction Corp. of Washington, D.C. He was married to the late Florence Naomi Rickard.
Surviving are one son, Roger Rickard of Woodbridge; two daughters, Louise Foster of Limeton and Betty Jo Waltman of Houston, Texas; one sister, Margie Knight of Bentonville; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frankie Kaiser, Jimmy Dingus, Kenneth Foster, Johnny Updike, Darrel Davidson and Steve Burney.

Glendon Ritenour
Glendon Ray “Buck” Ritenour, 63, of Front Royal, died Aug. 25 in Georgetown University Hospital.
The funeral was held Aug. 29 at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Burial was in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Mr. Ritenour was bom March 27, 1926, in Front Royal, the son of the late Glendon and Emma Ritenour. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Carpenters Local 2033.
Surviving are his wife, Maxine Morrison Ritenour; two sons, Roger Ritenour of Los Angeles, Calif, and Kenneth Ray Ritenour of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one stepson, Eddie Jones of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; one daughter, Elizabeth Grigsby of Front Royal; two brothers, Curtis
