Ritenour of Strasburg and Ashby Ritenour of Front Royal; one sister, Gladys Anderson of Painesville! Ohio; three foster children, Michael Atkins of Sperry ville, Carl Stringfellow and Shelby Elkins, both of Front Royal; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three foster grandchildren.

Pallbearers were William Breeden, Lee Wines, Roy Proffitt, Sherman Breeden, Johnny Dofermire and Eric Magalis. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Shipe, James Brinklow, Gary Baggarly, Harold Baggarly and Ned Atkins.

Robert L. Pullen

Funeral services for Robert Lee Pullen of Amiss ville were held Sept. 5 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.

Mr. Pullen, 54, died Sept. 1 at F auquier Hospital.

A mechanic, he was the son of of the late Richard and Georgia Rutherford Pullen.

Survivors include his wife, Fannie M. Pullen of Amissville; a daughter, Janet Lee Lake of Culpeper; a son, Kenneth Ray Pullen of Linden; a brother, John Pullen of Warrenton; two sisters, Louise Cornell of Warrenton and Mary Brady of Flint Hill, and two grandchildren.

Services were conducted by Rev. Paul Markee.

Basketry class

at 4-H Center

Tw'o six-week workshops in basket and wreath making and natural art form will be held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center outside Front Royal beginning Thursday, Sept. 14, concluding Dec. 14.

The classes will be held in the craft center located in Peter’s Lodge from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Both sessions will be conducted by Catherine Kiley, artist-in-residence at the center and a noted “art from nature” artist.

The workshops are designed for ages 13 to adult and will be limited to 12 participants. All materials and instructional needs will be furnished and are covered by the fee of $45 per sessions.
