New members for the group are welcome and encouraged to come and join the band. The directors stress the fact that practically all of the present organization had to recover long unused instruments, dust them off and get back into playing once again. Members currently come from the local area but there are many who venture from Winchester, Luray, Strasburg, Fauquier, Rappahannock, and Loundoun counties.
An open invitation is extended to all present and past musicians within commuting distance, as well as locally, to join in the fun that the members have in rehearsals and concerts, said Director John W. Russell.
