Back to school at RCES

The Rappahannock County Elementary School will hold its Back to School/Fee Day on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a supper break for faculty and staff from 5-6 p.m. Parents will have an opportunity to meet with their childrens' teachers during the program, as well as pay textbook fees and pick up important information. Principal Bernard Chesshir urges all parents to attend the program.

No course changes on Fee Day

Rappahannock County High School will hold its annual Fee Day on Thursday, Aug. 30, from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a dinner break from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. High school principal John Toth noted that no schedule changes will be made on Fee Day. A request for a schedule change, which must be signed by a parent, may be filled out that day, but it will not be considered until after Fee Day.
