Congressman D. French Slaughter plans to join Senator Kevin Miller, Delegate Andy Guest, and local supervisor Ellis Bingham for festivities on Saturday at the Amissville Firemen’s festival and craft show to be held Sept. 29 and 30. Col. Bingham plans to be available as much as possible throughout the weekend.
In festival news, local Richard Compton plans to display his awardwinning ’57 Chevrolets for the antique-classic car show on Sept. 29 and 30. Others invited to display their vehicles are members of the Antique Auto Club from the regions of Bull Run, Historic Fredericksburg, and Shenandoah.
