Techniques
1) Arrange food in a circle. Place large pieces of food to the outside of the dish.
2) Stir food while it cooks, if possible.
3) Pierce with a fork any whole food (such as a potato) that has a skin covering.
4) Let food stand or set a few minutes after cooking.
5) Keep hot pads nearby to use when removing a dish from the microwave oven. The heat of the food may make the dish hot.
