As we anticipate Labor Day, we look forward to a well-earned day of rest, a day in which we may enjoy the fruits of our labor.
Perhaps a picnic is in your plans, or possibly a final trip to the lake to end this summer season. Whatever your plans, have a satisfying day, for you, the laborers, combine all occupations, both professional and nonprofessional, in order to keep the gears of our economy running smoothly, so that we might take pleasure in living in this great nation of ours.
This Sabbath Day, may we take the time to thank God for the strength of body and mind which he so richly bestows upon us each day. 1 Peter, 4:11 tells us that whoever renders service . . renders it by the strength which God supplies...”
