Mr. Fisher also reported that current water bills total $3,319, and that there is $2,285 outstanding in overdue accounts.

Mrs. Susan Parrish said that the Planning Commission had two requests to present to the council. One was a request from Robin and Donna Kevis to raise the back porch roof height and add a window to their home. The other, from Denise Horton was to erect a sign at her office at the Middle St. Gallery showing that she is a “clinical psychologist Ph.D.” and “shamanic counselor.” The council approved both requests.

In other business, Mr. Fisher said that he wants the council to meet in their new building rather than the county courthouse. Meetings have not been held regularly at the new building because of a lack of furniture. Mr. Fisher moved “to build a conference table.” The motion passed unanimously.
