Favorite authors can pass in and out of our lives * as our lives change. As our interests l change, so do authors. «• The fun of a library, besides findl ing information, is the possibility of j finding a new undiscovered author i at least undiscovered to you. I Some authors who became popular favorites at the library are Pat, ricia Cornwell, John Grisham, I Richard North Patterson and Jonathan Kellerman. I must need a little more humor in my life because I found several splendid authors who are well worth reading. Clyde Edgerton. California J. Cooper, Donald Westlake, and two old favorites, Christopher Morley and Mark Twain. Each has a very different perspective on life. These authors are able to observe other’s lives much like Anne Tyler has in her stories. The library is adding 200 new or gift books a month. Many of these are donated locally. But at least 50
