each month are the books that are receiving the best reviews, awards and or prizes for best literature for the year.
Thanks to the Friends of the Library we now own a complete set of literary criticism about American authors and 20th Century American Literature. The library was unable to afford this set, but it was badly needed for students and adults wanting to learn more about favorite authors.
Besides getting ready for automation, going through inventory, defending our budget against possible cuts, and preparing for a big summer reading program it is getting near time for our annual Fourth of July Book Sale. If you have any books you are willing to give to the Library, please drop them off during. Library hours. If you are willing to help out with the sale, call 675-3780.
Starting June 14 our new summer hours are as follows; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
