Carlton Taylor Kines Jr., 65, of Stephenson, died Wednesday, June 9 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Kines was bom June 2, 1928 in Amissville, son of the late Carlton T. Kines Sr. and Arbelia Rowzie Kines.
He was a radio and television technician for Montgomery Ward in Winchester.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Arehart Kines; two sons, James D. Kines of Strasburg and Carlton T. Kines III of Mountain Falls; two daughter, Theresa Kines and Christine K. Roberts, both of Stephenson; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
