In another legal matter at last week’s School Board meeting, the board voted to authorize Dr. Gangel to take legal action, if the John T. Morgan Roofing and Sheet Metal Company of Roanoke does not pay the medical bills submitted to the company in a “timely manner.” The bills resulted from students seeking medical treatment following problems at the elementary school that were apparently the result of actions of the roofing company.
Dr. Gangel said that the school office has sent letters to all the parents involved telling what has happened so far. The bills have not been paid, and the company referred Dr. Gangel to their attorney.
